Abstract
Functioning general-purpose governmental units were the focus of this dataset. This aggregate data collection includes the name of each governmental unit, per capita income in 1979, total population as of April 1, 1980, per capita income estimates for 1981, and July 1, 1982, population estimates. Information is included for all counties, incorporated places, and functioning minor civil divisions (MCDs) in Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, and Wisconsin.Cf: http://doi.org/10.3886/ICPSR08333.v1
