Abstract
This poll is part of a continuing series of monthly surveys that solicit public opinion on the presidency and on a range of other political and social issues. Respondents were asked to give their opinions of the 2004 presidential campaign and the candidates, and the way George W. Bush was handling certain issues such as the economy, prescription drug costs, the war in Iraq, and terrorism. Respondents were also asked about their opinions of both George W. Bush and John Kerry and which candidate they favored in the election. The survey also included questions about various issues of the campaign such as health care and social security, their opinions of Governor Jeb Bush and the Florida economy, and government response to hurricanes. Background information on respondents includes union membership, military service, voter registration status, party identification, marital status, sex, religious preference, education record, age, ethnicity, and income.Cf: http://doi.org/10.3886/ICPSR04228.v1
