Siebmacher depicting 64 prize medals with emblematic obverses from 1582-1597; see Andresen. The images of the medals are followed by explanatory Latin orations delivered by their recipients. Medals on C1r, 2Cr printed upside down. No medals printed on O1r, Q3r in space reserved for them. Head- and tail-pieces. Initials.

Local Notes
At head of t.p. is owner's inscription of Gasp. Fromentius, dated 1603. In the right margin (and repeated on front free endpaper recto) is the property stamp in black ink of: Domus Lugdunensis Soc. Jesv. Shelf mark on front free endpaper verso.
Binding: old (but not original) limp vellum, stab sewn. Title & date written on orange label at head of spine. Lapped foredges. Remains of 2 pairs of ties at foredge.
