Summary
Before becoming a Brooklyn Dodger, Jackie Robinson is stationed in racist Fort Hood, Texas, where the former running back is side-lined in football games and excluded from the all-white baseball team. Robinson's lone battle against bigotry in the military earns him the reputation of a troublemaker, and when he refuses to move to a seat in the back of an Army bus, he is court-martialed. Robinson fights for his civil rights in an event that shapes the character of a future.
