  • The frontispiece is a woodcut, representing the seal of King James I; the last leaf is blank.
  • Folded leaf is "The inconveniencies that have happened to some persons vvhich have transported themselves from England to Virginia ... Imprinted at London by Felix Kyngston. 1622.", probably issued by the Virginia Company of London; also separately issued as STC 24844.
  • Caption title on leaf G3r "A treatise of the northwest passage to the South Sea, through the continent of Virginia and by Fretum Hudson." is signed at end: H.B., i.e. Henry Briggs.
  • "Here following is set downe a true list of the names of all those that were massacred by the treachery of the sauages in Virginia, the 22 March last ..."--p.35-43. Includes lists of colonists killed at Berkeley Hundred, Flowerdew Hundred and other plantations.
  • Entered at Stationers' Hall 31 August 1622.
  • Errata notes "Faults in printing are thus to be amended" (9 lines) on p. [8].
