Buddhist monks at the University of Virginia Art Museum, Thomas H. Bayly Building. From excerpt: The monks also created a sand mandala at UVa's Bayly Art Museum in conjunction with an exhibit of Tibetan and Nepalese art from the Virginia Museum in Richmond. The mandala is on display until May 1, 1994 when it will be dismantled at 3pm and dispersed at the Rivanna River in a special ceremony.
