From back of photo: Five University of Virginia students get ready to leave on a field trip for the Virginia Hearing Foundation in their new mobile unit station wagon. In the group, Ralph C. Brailey, Pulaski, unit director; Leslie W. Dalton, Jr., Bluefield; Miss Mary D. Walkup, Churchland; Miss Mary C. Henry, Middleburg, Kentucky; and Miss Grace Secord, Roanoke. During the 1960-1961 session, now nearing its close, the crew tested the hearing of more than 5600 boys and girls of nine Virginia counties.
