Portraits of the presidents through Van Buren at top of sheet, framed by title banners. Below is a view of the Battle of Bunker Hill, with Boston in the background. In the foreground is the "main subject being General Washington surrounded by one Representative from each of the thirteen States. The National Flag of 1776 (a Pine Tree, on a white field), is on the right whilst the present one is seen on the left hand." Columns (with portraits of Generals Warren & Lafayette in the base) "represent New-England arising out of Old England, surmounted by Hope and Liberty."
