Stratton, 1833." Written inside new fromt cover, "This book belonged to Emaline Stratton, who was born in 1818. Was the Grandmother of Annie (?) H. Semple. Emaline Stratton Hamner. Presented to Mr. John Powell by Mrs. George Semple ((?) Hamner Semple). From the estate of John Powell.
